Warehouse & Distribution temperature monitoring

Please find below some questions that are frequently asked before purchasing our wireless temperature monitoring systems for use in warehouse and distribution centres. For more information on technical aspects of the monitoring system please see the links below;

Can your system do thermal mapping for my warehouse?

Yes, our Wireless DATAcentre base unit can measure data from each Wireless Temperature Sensor individually and then group those together in a zone/building to give you an overall average. Not only can you do this with temperature, just about any environmental monitoring point can be mapped.

I have a warehouse that is 12,000m2, will your Wireless system operate over this distance?

Where points to be measured are separated by a large distance from the Wireless Monitor base unit then a Repeater module is used. With the use of Repeaters any size of premises can be effectively covered.

I store goods at ambient temperature but moisture levels are a concern.

We have Wireless Sensors that can measure a very broad range of indicators across your entire businesses environment, one of those being humidity levels.

Can I view the system remotely?

Our monitoring systems can be connected to a network and viewed using a standard web browser. You do not require any complicated software. Once connected to your network you can then view real time data, historical data in either a graph or table and review and acknowledge alarms either in your business or remotely from any computer in the world.

Can I give other people access to view my system remotely?

To log into the Wireless Monitor you will need a secure username and password, once this has been set up you can have access from anywhere in the world! Any changes to the settings that are made are recorded on the systems internal event log, with the time, date, action taken and the username of the person who made the change. This gives you full visibility and your staff accountability for any changes made on the Wireless Monitoring System.

Should the unit warn you of an alarm event you can log in remotely, interrogate the information to see the event and look at the particular unit that has caused the alarm which gives you the opportunity to decide your next course of action.

How difficult it the Wireless Monitor to operate?

The Wireless Monitoring unit has been designed with the end users in mind. It is simple to use with menus written in plain English with no acronyms. When using with the operating manual we are confident that even a new user will be able to use the basic operations on the system within 15 minutes
