We provide UKAS calibration and temperature mapping for medical, warehousing, production and food retailers.
We offer two key services to provide information on the accuracy of your sensors and improve your knowledge of the areas that your monitoring: calibration and mapping.
Our in-house laboratory and our on-site calibration procedures are accredited to the highest industry standards (UKAS ISO/IEC 17025:2005) for temperature and relative humidity.
Our mapping service uses all of our calibration and monitoring knowledge to offer a simple and competitive mapping solution.
At a glance:
- UKAS ISO:17025:2005 accredited calibration laboratory
- On-site calibration capabilities
- Dedicated temperature mapping systems
- UK-wide calibration and mapping coverage
What is calibration?
Calibration will give you confidence that the temperature displayed on your device is reflective of actual temperatures in the areas you are monitoring. It’s an essential process for any environment that stores precious and perishable goods.
Calibration has always been common place in medical facilities and drugs storage, but is now a requirement in a whole variety of applications across food production, storage and retail.
We provide calibration of both temperature and humidity sensors within our calibration laboratory, as well as being able to provide these services on customers sites.
What is temperature mapping?
Influences such as weather, stock holding, door openings and people movement change the efficiency of control systems, creating natural variants within a temperature-controlled area.
Temperature mapping gives you a view of those variances over time and allows you to take corrective actions, helping to remove risks to your products.
Our mapping reports provides a full overview of the temperatures over time allowing identification of areas of concern. To meet compliance, the report allows you to address these areas so the minimum standard for your industry or product has been met.
Meeting calibration requirements
With stricter calibration standards now a requirement of legislation and accreditation bodies, more customers need support in meeting their obligations.
Our expert calibration and mapping technicians can calibrate our range of temperature and humidity sensors, as well as sensors manufactured by other companies.
We are accredited for temperature and relative humidity with UKAS. Our in-house laboratory and on-site processes are inspected on a regular basis which ensures that our calibration methods, equipment and personnel are maintained to the standards required by UKAS to ISO/IEC 17025:2005Visit UKAS to see our accreditation
Long-term calibration contracts
For peace of mind, we recommend our fixed term calibration and mapping service contracts. You can budget up to three years in advance on dates that fit within your calendar – whether it’s for on-site testing or at our in-house laboratory.
